GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS: Badass Babes by Kate Collins

GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS: Badass Babes by Kate Collins

Grab your sunglasses and your favorite shirt and boots, we're gonna go on a joy ride.

It's pretty safe to say that tattooer Kate Collins is the authority on bad bitches. Having just released a reference book of flash titled "She's The One,"  chock-full of "lady heads inspired by punk songs," Collins clearly is The Authority on bad-ass, punk babes who will break our legs and steal our hearts.

Collins, tattooing out of Seven Swords Tattoo Company in Philadelphia, is a well-rounded tattooer and extremely talented fine artist. Tattooing since 2009 and drawing inspiration from both underground subculture and her personal history of bad-assery, Collins' work is traditional, tight, and tantalizing. While she specializes in American traditional tattooing and is known to whip up a killer dagger or some bold roses— it's her lady heads that have us hooked.

Multicolored hair, spiked accessories and piercings galore — her punk influence is clear. Each girl she tattoos, punk rocker or not, has her own, kickass edge...  whether it's a big, shiny pair of gold hoops or a fat joint in her hand. And we're into it. We wanna be 'em, we wanna do 'em, wanna have 'em tattooed all over our bodies.

You can find more of Kate's work on Instagram. We highly recommend it. Woof.
