Chanel Logo Tattoo Made by a Robot - the Future of Branding?

Chanel Logo Tattoo Made by a Robot - the Future of Branding?

Stories1 min Read

Another chapter in the automated tattoo machine saga.

Tattoodo is still following the path of Tatoué, the first automated tattoo machine and its creators.

Inspired by the German philosopher Walter Benjamin, the French team Appropriate Audiences is trying to experiment with reproducing artwork through machines. Through their research, they raise questions related to the uniqueness of art, including tattoos.

To explore this question, they have chosen to get a Chanel logo tattoo with their machine. Branding is a very debated issue in the contemporary tattoo world. Is tattooing a brand's logo art or not?

What do you think? Would you get a Chanel logo tattoo? And would you trust a robot to get it? Join the debate right now on Tattoodo!

All images are the property of Appropriate Audiences and Louis Pille Schneider. More videos and info on their website.
