I’ve always found it funny that “girl heads,” otherwise known as babe heads, is a legitimate thing in the tattoo world, when there isn’t a male counterpart. There’s no such thing as “boy head” tattoos or as I like to refer to them, “beefcake heads.” Perhaps it’s because women are the superior muse, or perhaps it’s because beefcake tattoos would probably just result in a caricature of Chris Hemsworth’s head (which to be completely honest, I’m not totally against?) being emblazoned on some poor soul’s thigh. The point is that babe heads are as classic as dagger tattoos, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Kim Anh’s girl heads are no exception to this. While adhering to the traditional style that’s become synonymous with girl head tattoos, what's so refreshing about Anh’s babes is that they’re all so unique. In lieu of the quintessential babe head adorned with roses atop her head, Anh opts for diversity. Her ladies depict girls from all over the world, including a Native American girl, a Maori girl, and even a beautiful Indian bride. The final result is stunning, and just another reason why we love her babe heads so much.
