Well, things aren't looking good for J.J. Watt this season. Going down with a back injury, Watt is expected to land in the injured reserve, thus guaranteeing him missing out on a large part of the year. Despite being one of the best players in the game, Watt has had his share of injuries.
Perhaps during his time off, he'll visit a tattoo parlor to add to his minuscule collection of tattoos.
The Texans beefcake has the initials "J," "D," and "T" on his chest along with a Chinese symbol.
What is the meaning of all of this?
Well, the Chinese symbol translates to the word "family" in English, and the initials are the first letters of he and his brother's names. Apparently, all of the brothers have the same tattoo.
The brothers share a close bond, they all play football, and they have all attended the University of Wisconsin to pursue their football dreams. J.J. was drafted by the Houston Texans in the 2011 draft, and his brother Derek was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the 2016 draft. Youngest brother T.J. is still playing at Wisconsin as a linebacker and has received many accolades for his on-field performance.
Since these guys are so close, it makes total sense for them honor that bond with some ink. Maybe when J.J. rocks his next piece, his brothers will follow suit.
