Niki Norberg's #copycattuesday Features Shameless Rip-Off Tattoos

Stealing someone else's art and trying to pass it off as your own is beyond disgusting.
Every time that a tattooer goes onto their social media (or that Tattoodo app!) and shares their work with the world they are opening themselves up to a disgusting trend — crappy artists trying to copy their work.

Norberg or niki23gtr, as he's known on Instagram, is one of our favorite contemporary artists. It's evident how he must have trained and worked hard for the skills he has now. His works are damn near impeccable, they're simply stunning. He's the master of his game. So when an artist with even a little bit less skill tries their hand at one of his designs the results are quite laughable.

You may take inspiration from someone, but blatantly copying their original work isn't something anyone should be proud of. No, you didn't "nail it,"bro. You ripped someone off and deserve to be ridiculed.

Notice how some of these tattoos may pass off as "good enough" to some, but none of them actually got them right. That's because even they know that these pieces aren't truly right.

But at the end of the day, no duplicate of your tattoo will ever take away how significant that tattoo is for you.
