See Iron Fist Get His Iconic Chest Tattoo

One defining feature of the Marvel superhero is his dope chest tattoo.

Marvel has been absolutely killing it with their Netflix series. Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage have all been smashing successes and there is already anticipation for future series like Defenders and the newly revealed Punisher series.

But next up on the docket for Marvel's Netflix properties is Iron Fist. This series has been flying under the radar, not too many rumblings about it, but once it comes out I'm sure everyone will cream their pants.

Well, Netflix released a video this week that serves as an artistic timelapse to whet the appetite for people pumped about the series. It's a nice little teaser, and it's enough to raise interest in the series.

Iron Fist, aka Danny Rand, is a martial arts master who is gifted with the power of "the iron fist" after he defeated the dragon Shou-Lao the Undying. During the fight, Rand throws himself against the scar of Shou-Lao, which gives him the dragon tattoo that appears on his chest.

Pretty mystical shit for a dude that grew up in New York City, right? Well, the mysticism is sure to get even crazier in his Netflix series because Iron Fist is all about the ancient arts and mysticism in the Marvel Universe.

Plus you wouldn't want to get punched with that fist. I mean, look at it. It's glorious and awesome. I wouldn't want to get punched by a regular fist, but the IRON FIST?! No way dude. Not having any of that.

Look for the Iron Fist series to appear on Netflix in March. Prepare to binge, baby!
