Tattoodo Leads: Connecting Artists and Clients

Tattoo Artists3 min Read

Summary

We introduce a new and easy way for artists to connect with clients.

For many reasons, the tattoo industry is going further into the digital world. Whether it’s due to more mass interest than ever before or issues brought on by Covid, artists are having to find new ways to make business easy, safe, and seamless. This is why Tattoodo has developed a simple client leads portal.

Why Tattoodo Leads Are Great

Tattoodo leads make it possible for prospective clients to swing by your shop digitally. This won’t just help with Covid restrictions; it also makes it possible, after the pandemic storm has cleared, for people to check out your studio while traveling, on short notice, and similar. It doesn’t change at all how you do business, it just enhances it. It brings more people to your doors, digitally.

It’s always good to have new business coming in, and our client leads make sure that you have your books full of projects that interest and resonate with you. See below for a guide on how to use them.

Click on the Client Leads card to see tattoo projects near you.

How Tattoodo Leads Work

Once you log into your artist profile on Tattoodo, you’re taken straight to your dashboard. The first thing you’ll see is a banner that states how many client leads are near you. Click on that, and it takes you to a list of all the hopeful tattoo projects near you.

Browsing through the list of projects in client leads, you’ll notice that we’ve included a way for people to send a brief that includes a short description, body placement, and even inspiration or body part images. This will help you get a good understanding of what the client is after, and whether or not you’re interested.

Click on a project, and you’ll be able to select if you want to message the client and get more info, or if you’re not interested. Selecting “Not Interested” removes the project from the client leads list. If you are interested, you can message the client to get more information. Once the client accepts your response, you can then start the consultation, set up a calendar date for the appointment, and even request deposits.

Pro Tip: You can also “Add a city”, which means if you’re guest spotting, have a cancellation or random opening, you can let people know you’re available for client leads in a particular city. It can also help you track the amount of client leads in other cities if you have loose travel plans! We tell you how below.

Once inside the Client Leads list, you can swipe through projects that may interest you!

Tattoodo Leads Step by Step

Log into your artist profile and click on the card that says “Client leads”.

Browse client briefs detailing their tattoo idea. Click on the projects to view more information.

For those that you are not interested in, simply click on the project and select “Not Interested” at the bottom. This removes it from your list.

For the projects you are interested in, you can message the client. Either create a new message or select “Quick reply” to send a pre-made message. Price estimates are optional, just click "I need more information."

Once a client accepts your response on their end, you can then start the consultation.

After speaking with the client and agreeing on a set appointment, you can then send them calendar invites and even deposit requests
