There are some tattoos out there that are meant to elicit a reaction from their viewer. It could be fear or respect, but when you look at Carla Evelyn's tattoos, you might just find yourself gushing over how cute they are. I know that my first reaction to them was, "OHMYGOSHHOWPRECIOUSISTHAT?!?!!?"
They are sugary sweet, enough to make your teeth rot just by looking at them. I can already feel the cavities forming right now.
Look, I understand that ghosts should be scary. The idea of a human spirit trapped between worlds and wandering the Earth for eternity would send shivers up anyone's spine. But... look at that little guy! Don't you want to hug him? Of course you do. Evelyn's work is beyond precious.
I want to eat that cake. So, so much. Evelyn's use of pastel colors is something we haven't seen much of in tattoo art, but we sure do want to see a lot more.
