One of Garitson's most compelling and original motifs are his skulls, which emulate the qualities germane to skulls done in the traditional style but also go to a whole different level with their color schemes. Instead of accenting the dark shading of his skeletal imagery with subtle hints of color, he takes it to the other extreme, fully saturating his skulls with a fade to give them a truly psychedelic vibe.
