My name is Theo I'm a tattoo artist in Port Elizabeth South Africa, I've trained with some big guys here in SA, I started out as a poor kid from South Africa's ghetto and found myself in a tattoo shop as a kid of 13yrs old.. I was so amazed by the art and what a person could do with a needle and it just sank in for me, when I was 16 I had to leave school because we couldn't afford to keep me going.. so I left school and started doing odd jobs from garden work to wood work, metal work, mechanical work and more. then I got into street fighting and all the bad stuff in life to provide for my family, I did what I had to do to survive and help my family of 8, we grew up hard and life was cold.. then I found myself back in the tattoo shops doing cleaning and helping with stencils and clients to make money.. a few years after that I got a chance to tattoo, I never was blessed with the skill to draw or come up with artwork or go to art school, but I loved it so much I gave it my all, in a few short years I found myself being able to read the art and understand it, this helped me grow as a artist and a person, then I made it to TV 3times, radio twise and then the newspaper, then something even better happened to me, i found God and changed my life, I got clean, walked away from all my influences and I now have dedicated my art and shop to the good Lord, I'm not perfect and never will be but God gave me a Tallent and a understanding to help those around me.. I didn't have much family love growing up but I've been blessed to have so many people come into my life to call family, and everyone who walks into my shop is not just a client but someone I get to bless with encouragement and positive thoughts.. what I do with my hands is my life and I will always remember where I came from and how lucky I am to be who I am today.. thank you for reading this. hope this message brings you some good power in your life and helps you go forward...🙏😎🤘🍀🍀🍀🍀
