With the death of our duke Bogislaw XIV in 1637, the most noble Pomeranian Tree of Griffin was finally uprooted with all its trunks and roots. And that's how our hope has gone: buried with Bogislaw's body, put to rest in the dark vaults of the castle chapel in Szczecin.
