I got this tattoo in memory of one of my gradeschool teachers who meant a lot to me and made me into the English language/grammar loving person I am today. She helped me through a lot of dark times and I miss her so much. The pink boxing glove represents breast cancer and the gray one represents brain cancer. I have them "nailed" to me because she "hung up her gloves" when she couldn't fight anymore.
