How much is the deposit and when do I pay it?
To hold your spot, I usually require a $600CAD + tax deposit. This deposit will be applied to the final cost of your tattoo and is paid by card through Tattoodo when you book the appointment. I offer financing options through Klarna, allowing you to spread out the deposit cost if needed. The deposit reserves your date, session duration, project concept, and quoted price, and covers design preparation and reserved studio time. It's applied toward the final session cost and stays valid for 6 months.
How many sessions will my tattoo take?
It depends on size, placement, complexity, and detail — each piece is unique, so the final number is determined individually. A rough guide by area: • Half sleeve: 2-4 sessions • Full sleeve: 4-8 sessions • Half leg: 3-5 sessions • Full leg: 6-10 sessions • Back piece: 4-8 sessions Any placements not listed are discussed before booking.
When will I see the design? Can I request changes?
Your design, or key prepared elements, is presented on the day of your appointment, based on your request form and references. I combine prepared elements with freehand drawing directly on the skin so the composition fits your anatomy, movement, and placement. We begin only once you're happy, and adjustments can be made before tattooing starts. Major changes to concept, placement, size, or scope may require a new deposit and rescheduling.
Can I book multiple days in a row?
Yes, up to 3 back-to-back sessions are available for large-scale projects. As I usually work every other day, one of the consecutive sessions may be scheduled on my regular day off and includes a 20% surcharge.
What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel?
One reschedule is permitted with at least 72 hours' notice. Insufficient notice, arriving more than 30 minutes late, or missing your appointment results in loss of the deposit. Deposits are non-refundable, non-transferable, and valid for one booking only. For multi-session projects, each session requires its own deposit and booking confirmation.
Do you offer consultations?
45-minute consultations include concept development, placement, artistic direction, and project planning. In-person consultations are preferred, with video or phone options available. Fee: $238 + tax, credited toward the final session.
