The Bordeaux based tattoo and design artist ‘MinimalKonstruction’ draws his inspiration from sacred geometric patterns and optical movement artwork, developing motifs and illusions and transferring them to a variety of art media.
His study of Dotwork and ultimately his passion for geometry stem from a chance meeting with the tattoo artist Alexis Calvie in 2007. Initially using his own body as a blank canvas for his patterns he began to tattoo his close entourage before working with his first clients in 2014.
2015 brought about a broadening of horizons thanks to the addition of islamic and asian cultural influences to his work. Constantly seeking out new and innovative ways to present his artistic vision, he began to work with textiles via serigraphy and undertaking ambitious projects to transfer his creations to larger surfaces such as walls.
Minimalkonstruction is currently experimenting with a variety of printing techniques in his Bordeaux
workshop, tattooing via booked appointments...
