Alejandro Ruiz

Biography

I was born and raised in Caracas Venezuela. While I was in college for chemical engineering, with the help of a friend, I developed an anesthetic cream in the university labs. Later on with Andrea Ramirez we founded a small company that made tattoo products. After finishing college I decided to pursue a tattoo career. I entered Jack Villamizar’s studio as an apprentice. Later on I started working with Alex Bruz in Elite tattoo studio. Since then I've attended many conventions in and out the country such as Caracas, Panama, Aruba and Milan. I enjoy doing black and grey realism and color tattoos, my main goal is to give my clients the most creative, highly contrasted tattoos that will flow with their anatomy and age properly with them. Staying creative is very important for me, I like glitch art because it gives me creative freedom, the style uses graphic errors and chaos to create beauty, it send a message that we are celebrating our flaws.
