Charlie Mendez

Introduction

LOKO CHARLIE Before anything Thank you for the opportunity to express in words my ideas , my experience. My name is Juan Carlos Mendez , I was born in Peru, but raised in Mexico where my whole family moved when I was just a boy. And Starting with the first topic , My Work Today , I'm a Tattoo Artist with 19 years of experience based in Minnesota and for the most part, people may think Tattoo is just a simple task that requires mad drawing skills. But for me is that , and more, I can say it goes beyond that , first is a privilege to imprint with your art the skin of somebody, I feel so much respect and gratitude for every one and each of my clients. To me The art of Tattooing is what I call a SACRED RITUAL, it involves so much mystical energies and thought that ritual you can influence the energy of the person you are tattooing. It’s been practiced for centuries by Many cultures and survived till Now , evolving and adapting , I consider Tattoo Artists the keepers of an Ancient Modern
