Constantly creating art from a young age , Christiän Nova began his career as a painter , live painting and displaying worevents all over the west coast for over 10 years . His obsession with fashion and fine art combined with an admiration for aesthetics which enhance the human form led him to his true calling , Blackwork. Focused primarily on Geometric, Ornamental & Heavy Blackwork tailored to the body. His passion and inspiration is derived from his surroundings and range from Organic formations , nature & the cosmos , magic & the occult , symbolism, fractal geometry , plant medicine, microbiology and indigenous cultures from around the world . Christiän currently resides in Northern California, where he owns and operates @samskara.studio a private Blackwork studio / Art Gallery located in the east bay .
