I live in West Wales with my wife and two boys. I grew up in Wolverhampton and did my foundation at Tong Street, Walsall College of Art with Phil Kelly. I went on to study Fine Art at Staffordshire University. After a year temping in the West Midlands I did a PGCE in Design Technology Education at Sheffield Hallam Universities, Psalter Lane Campus. After teaching for 5 years in Rotherham I moved to Pembrokeshire with my then girlfriend. We married had kids and I continued supply teaching till health matters meant I had to leave the classrooms. During this time I had been hand poking myself and continuing to create artwork. After a cancer scare I decided it was time to start tattooing so when Mat Price offered me a place at Sursum Tattoo I jumped at the chance.
