tattooing dark skin is not easy for many tattoo artist. There’s a misconception about tattoo not showing on dark skin. In my experience I have not seen any skin as dark as black ink. Keloid is caused by an excess protein collagen in the skin during healing. It is not harmful but some people find it unattractive. tattooing older skin is always challenging; skin ages and loses its elasticity, due to loss of fatty tissues and muscles, causing skin to stretch, sag and wrinkle. Old age skin is thin and bruised easily.
