I started Tattooing when I was 20. I paid my dues...I did two,2yr Apprenticeships with Bob Ewing of Moonlite Tattoo (Lewistown,PA) and Brian Fawks of Paragon Tattoo (Duncansville PA). I opened my first Tattoo Studio when I was 25 (Dreamweaver Tattoo,Mt.Union,PA) in 2001 I packed up and moved to So-Cal. Working and learning from some Great Artist's...Like Mike Ferguson (1st Amendment Tattoo Temecula, CA) worked with Mike for 5 years of my 10year In California. I worked up and down the Coast spreading my DeShong name and loving my trade. In 25yrs,I have worked or guest spotted over 50 Street Shops and Custom Studio's...Now I am getting older my traveling has become less and more about Family Now. I have passed the Tattoo Torch onto my 2 oldest Son's...Travis and Alex DeShong. We opened DeShong Tattoo Studio. My Son's are my Equal Business Partners...A.K.A My Retirement Plan!!
