Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, moved to the States in January 2000. Shin completed her undergraduate studies at Parsons School of Design in New York City and continued her education at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Throughout her entire life, Shin has always been fascinated by drawing, especially line art by using ink and pen. Her distinctive personal art style emanates agony and sadness and deeply expresses vibrant spirits and culture of animals and creatures in blackwork style. Lines give important clues about the emotion the artist is trying to convey. Given the background, her artistic ability to design and visualize the result her client wants will create phenomenal tattoos.
