my father and I share the same name #rafael and he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer 2 years ago. During his intial diagnosis it was hard to take in and his Dr said he will be ok and that our name in #hebrew means "god has healed" or "god is my healer". So after his surgery and a year of chemo he was finally cancer free. That was the best news i could ever get so I went and got this tattoo to honor his fight with cancer.

FREEDOM BLADE/ Antoine came to the shop with this knife and a crazy story. His grandfather was made a war prisoner during the World War II. He has stolen this knife to a nazi to escape from jail. Rumors has it that he killed the nazi with this blade. ThaMy uncle went missing in Mexico, he was like my dad. Decided to get his name tattooed. My Mom suddenly on my birthday in May 2009 and my Dad June 23 2010, after a year long battle with pancreatic cancer that was diagnosed days after my Mothers funeral. It was during the year I spent caring for my Dad that I learned about true strength. He fought so hard and rarely was there a day that he didn't look for the newfound joy in his life. So determined he was to see his grandchildren grow up and to finally see me settled and happy that he woke up each day with a sense of purpose to survive. My grandfathers handprint, he had been diagnosed with cancer for the second time and was scared that when he passed he was going to be forgotten. I've always been really close with him, my father was an asshole, so he was my father figure. So I got this to prove he wouldn't be forgotten.
