I call this one my little shitty boi tattoo only bc I went to the artist w this exact sketch from my sketchbook and was like “hey can I get this done today but you can tweak it to make it look professional”. The artist’s name was Mark and he did a really good job replicating it exactly as I’d drawn it; however, I just wish I’d done a better job of thinking this design through. There’s no balance w the eyes and the contour lines which is why i’m not so crazy about this piece. The cutest face and the sweetest tribute to a friend. I could stare at this one all day and I had the best time tattooing it! Took the photo at a funny angle so got a bit of a warp on it. WARP SLOTH.I was 19 when I got this and it was not at a shop so I gotta get this one fixed and finished!So this piece was one if the most fun ever! Leah asked me to make a pin up girl taking off her skin... so this i what resulted and it reminds me of the #hellraiser series from back in the day. Anyone familiar with clive barker? If not do yourself a favor and watch the hellraiser movies. I drew this on and tattooed it in one sitting. A standing shot of this giant phoenix the tails sweep behind the knee so it was very difficult to get a full shot in one picture of this massive tattooThis tattoo was done on luke who orks at my shop. He asked me for a lady and a brain showing some image regarding psychology. We had fun making this one!
