Prometheus gave man fire. Zeus punished man and took fire from them. Prometheus was a trickster god and loved man. He distracted Zeus and stole fire from Hephaestus. From this, man flourished and survived. Zeus punished Prometheus for his transgression and changed him to a mountain where a crow would eat his liver every day for eternity as it would always grow back. and yes its a work in progress
