I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on February 5th, 1994 (3 years old) and it's played such monumental role in making me into the person I am today. It taught me to never give up on what I wanted, and to never let anyone tell me what I could or could not do simply because of my illness. I can do exactly what everyone else can, i just do it in my own way. When my little brother was diagnosed at 15, he had a tough time adjusting to it, so I promised him that if he could reach his goals with his Diabetes, I would pay for him to get a tattoo. He has the same design but the date reads, March 7, 2010 for his date of diagnosis. I've also had lots of people comment and ask questions about it which gives me the opportunity to advocate about Type 1 Diabetes and how it differs from Type 2. Serves as a good medical alert symbol as well in case I emergency.4:20 🍁💙Music makes the people come together, yeah 🎧

And to cover the scar from the emergency surgery I had 9 years ago after almost dying.A sunflower would be my dream tattoo, very detailed and bright in color. What inspires me to get this fine piece of work is My Baby Girl, Alannah Jade. What she is, is my sunshine my only sunshine. I got pregnant at 18 and had her at 19 years old. Unsure of what motherhood would be at a young age, I kept my mind open and took life day by day. The moment I felt her first move and kick, just gave me much more meaning as to why I should move forward in life. Then, the day came to me having her and the moment the doctor put her on me, was life changing. With every contraction I had her heart rate was dropping and Doctors had to induce my labor quickly or we would have to be going through an emergency C-section. There was no time to lose and we began the pushing process, and two pushes in, the moment in which I knew, my life was at its balance. She brightened up the room with her sweet calm innocence but most importantly she gave my life color. Vibrant color! Her smile is so captivating, her laughter is so uplifting, and her Love for me her Mommy is so strong. I don't regret any of it, rill this day everything is a learning experience. I don't take life for granted not one bit. It's a blessing to have the ability to have a child.
