The picture is taken when it was fresh.My first one, the day I had it done ! I had my daughter Alicias name done first, and then added my wifes a few years laterThe cutest face and the sweetest tribute to a friend. I could stare at this one all day and I had the best time tattooing it! Took the photo at a funny angle so got a bit of a warp on it. WARP SLOTH.This was the day after I had it done. My chest piece was my first tattoo done on me and it was a free style and I was 29 at the time.
This is 2 separate tattoos. The little cherub was done first then a year later I had the stars and hearts added.This was the first tattoo i had had done The tattoo needed new lining and I had it reclined and had the color cyan put in one flower. First tattoo was done by Natt, a bff in Montreal, then 20 years later the fall. Love it Side 1“I went on a 14 day silent retreat and it was probably the hardest thing I’ve ever done.Towards the end of the two weeks I had what I think I can only describe as an out of body experience during the 4am session. I felt an overwhelming bubble of sadness and guilt literally rise within me but it wasn’t mine I was just experiencing it for someone else, I opened my eyes in floods of soundless tears that also felt not mine.I forgave my mum there and then, and it felt natural that I would stand by her no matter what, no more distancing myself, no more pushing her to get help, I would just be there unconditionally.When I left and came back home my mum told me she had something to tell me. She’d woken up really early in the morning (around 4am) and she said it was then clear what she had to do and why she had to do it.I believe I felt what my mum was feeling. I still don’t know what my mum actually felt that morning but it gave her the power and motivation to change her life.”I had the purple rose done first, followed but the red rose on the other side. And then decided I wanted to join it up and had the lily piece done. #roses #lilliesSome of my favorites done in 2019 , because of the lockdowns we didn’t had much of chance to work and post new work 🙏🏻
