These insects are my favorites. The bee is probably self-explanatory (no bees, no future!) Stag beetle: 1) they grow their larvae in dead wood. So death creates the beginning of a new life. Love the idea. 2) before the larvae become actual beetles they grow 3 to 7 years in dead wood!! Patience! 3) they live 3, sometimes 8 weeks from June to August. Busy summer to finish their to-do list! 4) They are very peaceful animals. Even with rivals. They don't intend to kill the combatant, just kick them off the tree. 😁 5) they are endangered. 😑 Awesome animals!
