This client works in the medical field and was wanting to get a version of the medical symbol Rod of Asclepius which is a staff with a snake wrapped around it seen on all ambulances and hospital doors. Asclepius is the greek god of medicine so why not go directly to the roots of it all. Defenitly a fun tattoo and one you wont see on any other medical professional. First actual portrait. By saying actual i mean first time or first attempt to just shade directly from the stencil without using a hardline. Ive tattooed human faces before but outlining or using bloodlines around the facial features kept me within my comfort zone. You only get better by challenging yourself and pushing yourself harder so i wanted to do it right to show myself i could.
