My first tattoo. I always loved the meaning behind the ouroboros. I also grew up on a farm in Cooper TX, sometimes would see a copperhead and I was always amazed at their beautiful color. I had my tattoo in the shape of a triquetra celtic knot to simbolize the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. One of my favorite anime charactures is Orochimaru from Naruto and he has the power to summon a giant snake named Manda. This snake has four horn like protrusions on his head. I also wanted the horns to have a certain shape to them. So I based them on my favorite Disney villan, Maleficent.

I wanted this one to have a similar art style as the one I have on my tricep. I wanted most of the contrast to come from the flowers as oppose to the snakes themselves. I love snakes so of course I added another snake tattoo to my arm. It is based on the 13th Zodiac most people dont know about. Ophiuchus the snake charmer. I’m also from TX so I wanted it wraped around a Blue Bonnet which is TX’s state flower. My favorite cartoon show is called Steven Universe. One of the chararacters on the show is called blue diamond. This tattoo is based on her jem cut. Abstract shape to fit in a gap. Freehanded on the day Had a blast tattooing this viking on the thigh. Added a snake made of flowers to fill in the open space on my arm. I decided to make the background a solid light red. “Cold hands mean a warm heart.” My grandparents would say this to me every time they held my cold skinny hands. They would ask “are you dead?” Then they would follow up with that quote. So I got it tattooed on my chest in their memory. The frame was added on after I got the quote and the artist did an amazing job. I asked him for an ornate frame around the quote and to have the colors based on one of my favorite flowers, the blue bonnet. He then added little touches of baby blue and red to add contrast and make it pop. “I have always had the sensation of having to choose which path in life I should take. I have been torn between the decision of excelling in this physical reality, and doing everything in my power to make my time here on Earth truly incredible. Or to dedicate my life to the exploration of the universe found within, however this would result in excluding myself off to the world around me. After trying the latter for a year I came to the realisation that I need to find a balance, I discovered that love is at the core of both paths but one cannot work without the other, there is a symbiosis at work. I need to find a way to do both…”– ElliotThank you Elliot for the beautiful thoughts, your trust and complete freedom with your idea!
