My first tattoo, a custom design I created in Photoshop my junior year at career technical school in Digital Media. It is a lotus flower with a camera shutter in the center. The lotus to me signifies hope, love, and new beginnings. The camera shutter is a symbol of my passion for photography. Eventually, I need it redone because the artist pressed too hard and I lost a lot of the ink.My second tattoo I got at a Friday the 13th Flash Event. It is grey barbwire showing resilience and strength.The cutest face and the sweetest tribute to a friend. I could stare at this one all day and I had the best time tattooing it! Took the photo at a funny angle so got a bit of a warp on it. WARP SLOTH.My fifth tattoo, a custom design the artist and I put together. The general black is for human equality, the rainbow watercolor is for LGBT inclusivity, promoting love and acceptance for everyone.Did one of my designs on a guy with the same name as myself. I like the fun in that. 15th November 2016 - this is my second tattoo. The semi-colon project is a mental health awareness campaign, as I have a past of depression and anxiety, becoming particularly difficult in the last few months. I got this little tattoo as a reminder to stick to my determination to recover, and to remember that life gets better! :)
