I served over 20 years in the US Army and miss the friendship and camaraderie of people that always had your back.

Made in Japan. Well actually just born there at Misawa Air Force Base. My Dad was in the US Army so we lived all over the world and lots of different states here in the United States. The longest time I stayed in one place was South Korea. I lived there from 1976 to 1981. So my adolescent years were spent in a foreign country and I think it really shaped my way of thinking and values. While there I played rhythm guitar and bass in a band called Rocks. Had a neat concert one year where a lot of the Americans stationed there showed. I only mention that because at that time not a lot of Americans or other foreigners lived there. I mean, my brother graduated Seoul American High School and had about 39 students in his graduating class. So then I came back to Maryland for my Senior year school where we had about 480 students in my graduating class and over 2700 students in the school. Man, talk about culture shock and suddenly becoming another sheep in the herd. I didn't like it because it wasn't like a big family anymore and more like a education be continued
