My name is Joey Chavez I am a Marine Corps Veteran and Owner of the Body Art Bus. We are Southern California’s only fully licensed mobile tattoo studio. We specialize in private parties and special events. We currently carry a 2 million dollar business liability insurance policy with a 5 million dollar umbrella. Our buses have been completely custom designed to provide state of the art body art services. We only use the best inks, aftercare and equipment. All of our artists are award winning talents and very experienced. We follow all state and local guidelines dealing with body art. We are currently licensed in LA, SD and Riverside Counties. We have been licensed in the OC and we can easily get a temporary permit to cover your event. Our company offers two sizes of vehicles that provide a completely clean, sanitary and professional environment. The dimensions are 32ft long 9ft wide and 12ft tall for our larger bus and 23ft long 9ft wide and 9ft tall for our smaller bus. The large bus can accommodate 3 tattoo artist and one Piercer per event. The smaller bus can accommodate 2 artists per event. We require a $1000 dollar minimum per Artist per day rate. We charge a minimum of $100 per tattoo. Don’t let those numbers intimidate you. If we set up at your event we will make $1000 minimum per artist if we are set up for at least 8 hrs per day. Which would mean you would have $0 our of pocket cost except for a traveling fee $250 per day deposit. That is all we would require to book the event.
