Requested a very simple, small piece (same circumference as a US quarter), all black/no color - not even filled in. Was at the studio less than 30mins from walking in & doing consultation to out the door & was charged $100. I am all for paying artists accordingly but this was a design I brought in myself, I was HIGHLY OVERCHARGED. Even after I gave the artist a bolster to offer clients so they could be more comfortable on their tables. Cold & unwelcoming, I felt like I was bothering the dude. I'm not including the artist's name as I hope that my experience was not common practice. On the plus side they are open on Sundays.
