OG. I'm a tattooer for over 30 years from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I served my formal apprenticeship under the late Bob "Moose" Rutter, owner of the original Bodyworks Tattoo Studio in Pittsburgh and remained there until 1995, when I furthered my training under Ernie Carafa at Tattoo City in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey.
I've worked in several shops over the years and spent my formative years working the convention circuit where I won several awards for work I've done, peaking with Best overall male Backpiece at the 1997 Meeting of the Marked in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I frequently sit in as a guest Tattooer at reputable shops around the world.
I'm a blue collar Tattooer, working my entire career in street shops, boardwalks and military bases. I'm a versatile Tattooer affluent in all styles of tattooing, that being said, if I don't feel that a particular style of tattooing will not stand the test of time, leaving the wearer unsatisfied, I will not practice it. I apply the traditional values and techniques in my craft that include an outline, opaque black shading, and/or wall to wall color.
I guarantee my work for up to 2 weeks after death.
Since 1988, one of Pittsburgh's finest Tattooers, I also build one of a kind electric tattoo machines. MY WORK SPEAKS FOR ITSELF.
I can be located at LIONHEART TATTOO, with my friend and brother, Chris Henry, of the Old School, at 121 Main Street in New Eagle, PA. (724)243-8358
