Growing up with a teacher as well as an artist in the family, I was instilled with a true appreciation for all forms of art. With that being said, I’ve come to enjoy the process of oil painting and charcoal drawing, which has become directly linked to my tattooing. Now specializing in large scale award winning black and grey work, I look to expand my knowledge of neo-traditional, mastering yet another approach to tattooing. I have found this calling to be a genuine one that comes from a deeper place than the hype and is precisely why, I have continued on this path for 9 years now. For me tattooing requires a rare blend of discipline, focus and an uncompromising work ethic. One of the greatest parts to working day in day out with people in a profession like tattooing, is as the artist I have the opportunity to come into contact with people from every walk of life. As far as coworkers I find that tattooers are some of the hardest working artists out there and I’m fortunate to be surrounded by great people with experience here at Katana Tattoo.
