What an incredible artist I got to meet. I love her and her art so much I decided to go from two small tattoos to a big one and she turned my idea into a beautiful masterpiece. She took the time to make sure that the sketch is as I want it to be and only then she starts tattooing. Let me repeat : She takes the time. You are not in a rush you get to enjoy the process in peace and quiet. Also she is a person of a true kindness and joy she'll get you the space and talk you need. Getting tattooed by Katerina is a pleasure. She’s kind, empathetic, efficient and professional. She was very understanding and flexible with my schedule, and also with the changes I requested for the design both before and during the appointment. I can be a little shy about asking for adjustments, but she made me feel so welcome that I was totally at ease. Katerina has the calm energy of people who love what they do and know they do it well. She effortlessly whipped up 3-4 versions of the design while balancing the necessary technical questions (“Do you like this part? What about the shading here?”) with getting-to-know-you small talk that set me at ease. Once the design was selected she walked me through what the tattooing process was going to look like, and then managed to lay the large, complicated stencil down the exact middle of my spine on the first try. I had a brief moment of panic when I discovered, the moment the needle touched my skin, that my back is very ticklish (imagine my horror…), but Katerina took it completely in stride. I’m very grateful for how comfortable she made me feel every step of the way. I wouldn’t usually volunteer for topless photos, but by the time the tattoo was finished I was practically excited about it. (Of course, taking pictures is entirely optional, but I’m glad I have mine.) This was my first tattoo from her but it won't be the last. Katerina genuinely wants you to be happy not just with your tattoo, but also with the entire tattooing process, and I feel very fortunate to have been her client.
