Bio

Art came to me naturally since childhood growing up in Tonga (South Pacific), with my grandparents where I learned our culture & history of the Tonga Empire & Polynesia. I was exposed to our traditional arts & crafts at young age from old people. My life in Tonga & Fiji(Melanesia) (where tattoo in Samoa originated) was rich in Pasifika history & culture. I moved to Malaysia for engineering, dropped-out of school & built a jail house tattoo machine, and started tattoo right away without prior experience. I lived in the Northern Marianas & learned of art of Micronesia and culture. I moved here to Los Angeles California in 2003. Polynesian tattoo was rare in US, and a handful of Polynesians practiced tattoo in the garages. They designed just for Polynesians. I designed freestyle for everyone & it was controversial. I can tattoo ALL Polynesian styles; Hawaiian, Maori, Tonga, Samoa,Tahiti, Fiji, Cook Is, Marquesas, Wallis & Futuna, Niue, Rotuma, Tokelau, Rarotonga. Enjoy!

#Filipinotattoo forearm band tattooing older skin is always challenging; skin ages and loses its elasticity, due to loss of fatty tissues and muscles, causing skin to stretch, sag and wrinkle. Old age skin is thin and bruised easily. Trying to keep a straight line is not easy and relies on experience ...and I love tattooing older people they are wise and has a lot of life stories full of adventures and lessons...⬇️ For inquiries-email: polynesiantribal@gmail.com :#tattookingafa #tonganTattooDesigner #LApolynesianTattoo #tattooPasifika #kingafa she wanted a memorable #palmtree for 10 years in #LosAngeles forearm #PolynesianTattoo #art Polynesian Tattoo
tattooing dark skin is not easy for many tattoo artist. There’s a misconception about tattoo not showing on dark skin. In my experience I have not seen any skin as dark as black ink. Keloid is caused by an excess protein collagen in the skin during healing. It is not harmful but some people find it unattractive. Dark skin are more likely to have keloid scarring and growth of such fibrous scar tissue varies between people of dark skin. It is challenging to tattoo dark skin especially packing solid black #LApolynesianTattoo #tattooPasifika #kingafa #polynesiantattoo Tongan and Samoan tattoo #Polynesiantattoo of #Maori style #sleeve designed freehand onto the skin Polynesian sleeve Tattoo of Marquesas style, similar art as the The Rock tattoo Forearm Sleeve
