Horisumi’s tattoos are highly detailed, richly coloured and technically proficient yet remain elegant and simple to look at on the skin and are created to last for decades, not just for a photo. He imports and create all his coloured inks from powered pigments and mixes them by hand. His blacks and shades of black are made from Japanese sumi sticks imported from Nara, Japan, and are ground and mixed daily in the studio, only the finest ingredients, needles and supplies are utilised for his work, no expense or effort is spared.
Horisumi learnt to tattoo in Toronto, Canada under the tutelage of David ‘Crazy Ace’ Daniels. He began studying, researching, drawing, and learning to tattoo with homemade tools and equipment on his own in 1986 and has been tattooing professionally worldwide since 1993. Seth specialises in dot work tattoos, geometric tattoo, all styles of tribal tattooing, and fine precise linework. This makes him excellent at ethnographic inspired tattooing, commonly referred to as tribal tattooing, drawing influence from Samoan tattoo, Marquesan tattoo, and Maori tattoo artwork.
Seth started tattooing in South Africa in 1998. Wanting to explore the world of tattooing, he began to travel, ending up at Flamin’ Eight Tattoo in London where he worked for 7 years, honing his craft. From there, Seth became a regular visitor at Inner Vision Tattoo in Sydney, but spent years as a vagabond, doing guest spots all over the world. He has previously worked at True Tattoo in Los Angeles, Avalon II in San Diego, Saints and Sinners in Dallas, Electric Ladyland in New Orleans, Metal Machine in Cape Town, and is a regular guest at Royal Tattoo in Helsingor, Denmark.

Lance grew up on the NSW south coast where he started his apprenticeship in a local street shop and began his journey into professional tattooing.
A predominantly self taught artist before tattooing, Lance has been intrigued with tattoos and more specifically the Japanese style of art and tattooing for as long as he can remember.
Lance draws his inspiration from artists such as Horiyoshi III, Horisumi, Horikitsune, Judd Ripley, Gary Royal, Big Meas, BJ Betts and many more, as well as carvings, woodblock prints and paintings both old and new, with a focus on clean lines and strong colours.
His time in a busy street shop has served him well to learn his technique and up his skills and being able to take on most styles of tattoo including both simple and elaborate lettering, American traditional and Japanese styles.
He has many finished drawings ready to tattoo and is constantly creating new pieces for upcoming clients and for walk-ins..
Born and raised in the south of Sydney. Gus first started tattooing in 2010. He had gained a diploma in graphic design in the years after leaving school. After leaving the trade he lived overseas in Europe for a year. Gus has worked at two other tattoo studios in Sydney, before finally finding his home at Authentink Studio at the end of 2016.
Gus’s favourite part of tattooing is giving his customers a one off tattoo that they can appreciate for life. Gus is happy take on any subject matter, however his passion lies and in black and grey realism work, large or small. He enjoys working with the customer to come to the best solution for a great tattoo.
Gus is lucky to have worked alongside some of the greatest artists in Australia, and guest artists from around the globe. He is constantly influenced and inspired by his fellow tattooists, and actively seeks out a learning opportunity with anyone he crosses paths with.
Glenn is a professional Tattoo Artist based in Sydney whose style ranges from Japanese/Oriental to black & grey, geometric, dot work, floral designs and even some portraiture work. Being an aspiring artist from a very young age with the ability to draw, paint and airbrush, Glenn enjoys all aspects of artistry.
Glenn started his journey only 5 years ago studying the art of tattooing in Asia, since then he had spent the majority of his time working out one of the most established studios in Western Sydney ‘Wicked Ink’ and various custom studios in Sydney working alongside some of the big names in the industry.
Glenn is constantly travelling around the world seeking inspiration and feeding off others artists to better his skills for his client base. Experienced, Fun, hard working, dedicated, and talented.
Soo offers a great wealth of talent and tattoo knowledge to our team and to our studio. He cares passionately about tattooing, tattoo art, tattoo history and tattoo culture.
Soo hails from South Korea and has been studying art since he was a child, he graduated from Busan Arts High School and then went on to Dongna University and started tattooing shortly after that in 2013. His ambitions lie in creating authentic and highly complex traditional Japanese style tattoo, and he likes to do it all in the old ways, right on the skin. Soo freehands on most of his designs with markers and then tattoos it directly from that… so each large Japanese style tattoo is truly unique and made just for you right in front of your eyes.
Oriental and traditional Japanese tattoos are what he specialises in and will take on projects from small one-point pieces to full bodysuits. His style is very unique to the rest of our Japanese style artists.
