About the Studio

was founded by the One & Only Michael Berriman, Entrepreneur, Visionary, Artist and family man back in 2012. The vision Michael had for CyberSkin Tattoos & Piercings was to have a lively new age, modern, safe and clean environment for the future of Tattooing, Body modification and one off, custom imported Cyber Punk clothing in South Africa. The shop allows clients from all walks of life to meet with selective artists or Mod Specialist to meet in a relaxed place and get down to the vision and design of each individual tattoo or piercing any client will have. With the shop going from strength to strength from the get go with solely relying on natural progression and word of mouth spreading, the shop has great repeat business and continues to develop in all styles to put out amazing work with great pricing structures and short booking times suited to each clients needs. Decided to get a skull type design with claws on my left hand. Artist, Mike. Shading is very inconsistent. There are certain points on the claw which weren’t finished off to have that ‘pointed’ look and were just left there, giving it an incomplete look. The lines done on one section of the skull are thick you can see the difference immediately. It seems like if you not best buds with this oke that Mike is just not bothered to put thought and passion into what he does and wants to get done as quickly as possible to make money off the next victim. Sorry, client.

@funkyjunky I know how you feel. I also have to walk around with Mike's aweful work on me for life. Also had other tattoo artists say it was the worst work they had ever seen. And Mike offers no apology, no refund. Bad "artist" scratcher, bad business ethics. Funky junky spread the word so no one else has to suffer at Mike's hand!

Went to have a Care Bear arm sleeve done in December. What a total disaster! Sent a simple picture of what I wanted before the time. It wasn’t rocket science & michael has done far more intricate tattoos... Both Care Bears he did are “fluffy” looking & NOT done the same as pictures I sent. The one Care Bear’s eye is bulging out & it looks ridiculous! The other Care Bear’s eyes he coloured in black... only he knows why he did that cause to this day I don’t get it.... There are also NUMEROUS numerous other mistakes he did which would take too long to mention here. He also didn’t bother to shade the background which I told him I wanted done, but no, it was 6 pm & he wanted to get home. I have already queried to have those 2 Care Bears removed by laser cause they are a complete embarrassment, but it’s going to cost me at least R10K to get rid of a R3,5K tattoo. Have sent pictures to other tattoo artists & was told by one artist “There's allot of bad shades and so some can be fixed and other finished nicer. Those dik lines are forever tho”, while another artist told me, “not even magic will fix them”.... This is how bad these tattoos are. michael told me to come in & he can “fix” it. Um, no. I’m not going to allow his shoddy “workmanship” on my body ever again! It’s bad enough I have to walk around with this thing basically on my arm which cannot be fixed!
