Please read this review if you are considering getting a tattoo from Jennifer, whom is unfortunately the manager so no one to go to above her when she decides to screw you up. Look at my pictures!! This place had been recommended to me, Jennifer specifically, so I followed her stuff for the past year. She clearly is talented & has the ability to do good work but for some reason she went too deep with her needle and I've been incredibly sick & missing work from the infection. My tattoo was done 3 weeks ago. First of all, it was SO hard to get her to contact me & respond!!!! (Does she WANT clients??). I finally just went there to get her to book an appt with me. She was late to our appt, no apologies. So I waited an hour, & once in her chair, it took her another hour to draw swirls & stars on me & whatever else she was doing. Keep in mind, I've been to 4 different tat parlors in my life and have tats front & back ears to my foot. I KNOW what is normal, etc. That tattoo hurt unlike any other I've ever had. "The leg is sensitive," she says. I already had tattooing on my leg and my spine, wrist, hand, collarbone ,foot, sternum & plenty of places where it would be painful. I finally tell her to stop after an hour & half because I can't take the pain anymore & I've never had to do that before. I then stand up & look at it & my leg is pouring blood all the way down to my flip flop. I have never bled like that from any other tats, not even blood that dripped down at all. She assured me this was normal & that I must have thin blood, which is def not true. I sent her a picture of my tat & it was covered in boils and pus so yes, it looked wet because it was covered in exploding boils & pus! She told me it just looked too wet (yes, bc of pus!) and to let it dry heal. The tat continued to morph exposing the large holes and canyons she had drilled into me (No wonder it hurt so bad--and STILL, 3 weeks later, sends shooting pains & wakes me up at night.) I can also see the blowout effect from her using her needle too deep bc a lot of the color is fading and bleeding straight out & the sides are getting all blurry. My Dr told me that from using the needle too deep she had given me an infection in my leg & that it may completely fade but either way I'm going to have scars all around my leg from this. I've been using the antibiotic cream I was prescribed (keep in mind I have to pay for the dr appointment & meds) yet I continue to be sick. It started out getting sick sporadically & now I am sick every day. Like CRAZY sick with fevers, pain & the whole shebang. I told Jennifer & sent her more pics (some screenshots I'll provide) & asked her to please refund me for the session so that I could use it to pay someone to fix this when it finishes healing whenever that will be. I'm not even asking for money to cover my doctor or the meds or the work that I missed cuz of how sick I've been nor the fact that I had to wait an hour for her & then another hour before she even started & still paid $300 plus tip. What she had told me was it's $100/he for a tat. When I get there she informs me that they are changing the price to 120 but said it in a way that I think she was hoping I would do that but acknowledging that she knew she had told me something diff so I def did 100/hr. Well, she did not respond to my text at all so I waited over a week & told her if she could not respond &was choosing to continue to act unprofessionally, then I would go ahead and move forward & post this review and once my leg is done & I know the final status of damage she did to me, get a lawyer involved. Gave it a couple days, still no response from her. Maybe she was so focused on her speakerphone conversation with her bf about how upset he was over his custody hearing that day that she just wasn't paying attention while drilling my leg to death. Or ranting about the very sweet customer that came in for a refund because the day before Jennifer had canceled on her and that girl had communicated she needed the tat that day (maybe she had taken that day off work to get the tat done & didn't want to miss another day of work or have any vacation days left to do it, could be plenty of reasons). She kept calling her a b**** & said she will never do refunds again (she requires $100 deposit). Although she has done great work before, I would advise not take your chances or you might end up with a bunch of scars instead of a tattoo &get called all kinds of names behind your back.
