Aygul
Six bulletsI decided to get my first tattoo in my 50s. I had an idea of the image I wanted but I wanted an artist who would add to my idea and could instil their style on it too. After some recommendations and research I contacted Aygul whose watercolour style and artistic skill seemed to fit with my idea of what I wanted. From our first conversation, Aygul was great, she listened to my ideas and answered all my questions as I was a little nervous about the getting my first tattoo. Aygul then produced a few designs based on the image I had given her and I chose the one which kept the main focus of the image but also added to it with her watercolour skills, the blue of the background dripping in the background. On the day of the tattoo, everyone at Sixbullets was very welcoming and made me feel at ease. Aygul explained the process and created a number of templates so I could decide the size and where exactly on my arm I wanted the image. During the tattoo, Aygul gave me a history of tattooing through the ages which was really interesting. The tattoo is brilliant, the leaf is instantly recognisable if you know where it’s from and the colours look amazing. She is a really brilliant artist and I would absolutely recommend her. At the end, Aygul explained the aftercare process and has been in touch making sure everything is ok.
