Wow where to begin- I made an appointment for an early sit down because of the large piece I gave the artist exactly what I wanted and gave him alittle artistic inputs for the back portion of the work. I paid a small fee to reserve the appointment the front desk guy was nice and the artist seemed cool.
I received a call about six days later (day before my app) asking me if I wanted to come in at 11p instead of 10. I stated I wanted as long as I could in the chair and I had plans after the session so the time difference didn’t work for me and the guy on the phone said it was not a problem.
Well it was a problem- I came in at 10 am and was told to have a seat that the artist was working on something and he would be out soon. So about 1130 the artist comes to the front and presents me with a cartoon version of what I wanted. The raven look d like a eagle in a Tom and Jerry cartoon.
I was attempting to work with the artist and share what I envisioned to see if we could get back on track- after the artist started saying you can’t do this or that won’t work I decided to let the cartoon animator off the hook and I won’t be coming back.
Listen to the customer and things will work out especially since they have been thinking about what they want for years.
