At The Vault my business model was originally based on a home call structure. What does that mean? It means I can come to YOU! This allows you the option to experience the art of tattoo in the comfort of your own home. I started tattooing friends and family this way in Southern Ontario when I saw how many people were uncomfortable in a shop atmosphere and how impersonal the process has become.
All of the materials that come into contact with a client is single use and disposable. The needle cartridges come sealed in sterile surgical packaging and are disposed of in a locked sharps container, which is then disposed of safely. I clean the area of your home in which you choose for us to work with a hospital grade sterilizing cleaner both before we begin and after we are finished. All other equipment is thoroughly cleaned with rubbing alcohol while setting up and again when Your tattoo is finished.
The art of tattoo was originally meant as both a spiritual and therapeutic act. My approach is much the same. I have had clients use smudging, aromatherapy therapy, meditation, music, and many other methods to connect to the experience on a much more personal level than what is normally available in a shop atmosphere.
Your comfort and enjoyment of the experience are of the utmost importance to me. I work closely with my clients to ensure that the finished result is a piece of art they love and an experience they will never forget!
