About the Studio

No Land Tattoo Parlour is a unique concept as a tattoo studio. We started our journey in April 2016 marking a turning point in Valencia city.Sento is heading this project, a veteran tattooer who started tattooing around 22 years ago.After many years of learning experience, taking up knowledge from studios all over the world, loads of conventions and tons of practice he decided to start a new project to satisfy his biggest interest. He put together the best tattooers, national and international, under one roof where friendship, respect and passion for tattooing are essential values.A tattoo studio intended to have a national and international reference, made with lot of love.Taking care of every detail, our studio blends the old Victorian aesthetics from 19th century with a David Lynch film, all the while casting an eye towards the Twin Peaks series.

- Bad attitude and bad quality, seems like they think they're so awesome they don't have to take clients' wishes or feelings seriously - Tattoos are really a lot like sex: no means no; and once I've said no, you don't get to tell me I'm wrong not to want it! * * * I made an appointment at NoLand online, and sent them a verbal description of what I wanted, along with several detailed reference photos. Vicente, who took my deposit and made the booking, promised me a design by email two days before my appointment. The design didn't come on time, so I messaged Vicente to ask what was up; he didn't reply until the next day, when he said it would come when it was ready. Late afternoon the night before the appointment, I was sent a cartoonish design that looked like it was done in 10 minutes in MS paint, and bore little resemblance to my reference photos. (I won't name the artist here, as I don't actually know what information they were given, or what pressure they were under). I was super discouraged by the design; I felt my concept wasn't understood or taken seriously, and so I wrote to Vicente saying, politely, that the design didn't meet my expectations, and I was I going to look elsewhere. Rather than responding by either a) accepting my decision or b) asking what was wrong and why it didn't work, and trying to find a solution, Vicente chose to push back, put the onus on me to come up with ways to fix their bad design, and mansplain: "the digital design never reflects a real tattoo finish" (I've been getting ink for 20 years on 3 continents, I know how tattoos work, thanks) and "the design fits the concept perfectly." I tried to be polite but honest, but he just kept going, lecturing me, calling me rude, etc. It was ugly and unpleasant, and I will definitely never get any work done here!
