the idea of the title is just because if someone doesn't know the meaning, looking at it could think at the Puccini opera.
In reality the guy have a strong passion for oriental culture, so he wanted a geisha representing hies wife, the samurai representing himself that will protect he daughter from anithing, and then a lot of cherry flowers and oriental temples. the idea was pretty clear, I just had to give life to his idea.Oriental Dragon
I don't do Japanese style, so when the guy came to me asking for a Japanese style tattoo. I told him that I could do a personal reinterpretation of the style. He loved the design and I also liked the challengeAcross the Universe
This guy wanted something very particular: a couple of ghosts representing immortal love. I came up with the idea of the drapery that design a man and a woman. the hourglass for life and death as the cycle of life and the space as the background was pretty obvious. Around them I proposed some lightning as the electrons of the atom, since everything changes but hte atom remain the same. He loved the project, as I doLoneliness in the universeLoneliness is a feeling that has become one of the characteristic features of our generation Z. In theory, a person as a social being surrounded by other individuals should not experience this feeling. Is it the result of the appearance of social networks and online life for show, or the fact that we have much more information about the world and people that we want to get away from this? For me personally, this has become the main feeling of life and creativity. I didn’t draw, and I thought that I didn’t know how to do it, until I was at one moment at the bottom of the darkest, most drawn and dreary loneliness. Before that, I tried to close the disconnect with the world, communicating with people who were doing something of what I thought, I was never given and never will be. But if it happens that these very people are knocking the soil out from under your feet, then you, like Alice, are flying to the bottom of the same dreary rabbit hole. And that made me who I am now. The more you delve into knowledge, the less you want to communicate with most people and the more necessary it becomes to build your own world. One of my favorite artists, Victor Pivovarov, a representative of Moscow conceptualism, a landmark in unofficial Soviet and then Russian art, in 1975 produced a series of “Projects for a lonely person” that roughly describe a “perfectly lonely” person. I also decided to make a series of illustrations to the philosophical aspects of the consideration of this concept. Still, I'm also a kind of Moscow conceptualist. The second image I will attach the work of Pivovarov.Based on the generalized picture, we can distinguish four images of loneliness: cosmic, cultural, social, interpersonal. So N1:Cosmic loneliness is a person’s experience of his remoteness from the “all-encompassing” essence, which nature, cosmos, and the world can seem to be; God, the "highest mind" '; human history. This refers to the state of mind of a person who realizes that his “life program” remains unrealized, that his personality is not noticed by society, that he has not left “his mark on history”.Did one of my designs on a guy with the same name as myself. I like the fun in that. “The world is given to me only once, not one existing and one perceived. Subject and object are only one. The barrier between them cannot be said to have broken down as a result of recent experience in the physical sciences, for this barrier does not exist.”― Erwin SchrodingerThank you Charley for your trust and for the complete freedom with your tattoo! I loved working on this one as its subject is very close to me. “There's something poetic about the basis of life being greater than the known universe. Similarly with wave-particle duality, I was always taught that electrons were subatomic particles so to discover that they're also waves opens up a whole new bunch of questions that I'm looking to answer. In short what I'm looking for the design to represent is the unanswered and unanswerable questions but also the comfort that comes from the unknown.”By @peterlaevivInquiries:peter.laeviv@gmail.com.....#tattoodo #singleneedle #londontattooartist #tattooart #bla
MECHDRAGON
I had the idea of doing a dragon made of tires for a while, whe =n I started designing I changed a bit the idea and started thinking about making a biomech version of a Japanese dragon, so the dragon became mechanical, the cherry flowers became the shuriken, the background geometric and the waves or fog the dinamic lines. Just the pearl remain the same. The detail that I love the most is the graining of the tires, as a F1 race car xould do. The piece was sold even before I completed the design.Great Reset
This sleeve was made in two different steps, he first asked for a biomech on the forearm, inspired to a previous work of mine, after one year he came back sith the idea of the mad scientist with the syringe, so, considering the period in which we were living, I came up with that titleSPACE PIONEER
this guy wanted to show his passion for space since when he was just a kid. So I had this idea of his portrait as a kid (he didn't have any good picture, so I had to invent his portrait as a kid from many bad pictures) looking up at his dream and the DNA was a perfect separation between the to scenes but also as something deeply implanted in him.P1X-3L
I always experiment with my art and sometimes happen that a client, looking at my designs, choses some of them as they are.
I love these kind of clients“I have always had the sensation of having to choose which path in life I should take. I have been torn between the decision of excelling in this physical reality, and doing everything in my power to make my time here on Earth truly incredible. Or to dedicate my life to the exploration of the universe found within, however this would result in excluding myself off to the world around me. After trying the latter for a year I came to the realisation that I need to find a balance, I discovered that love is at the core of both paths but one cannot work without the other, there is a symbiosis at work. I need to find a way to do both…”– ElliotThank you Elliot for the beautiful thoughts, your trust and complete freedom with your idea!
