This is an idea that will be for my great-grandmother Matilda (Tillie) , who passed in June 2012. Instead of a rose I will be using tiger lillys, because she always had tiger lillys in her garden && Im not a church going person but she was & my respect and understand for those religions came from her which is why I chose a cross for this piece. My great grandmother was such a strong, fierce and independant woman who lived a very long time and made a very big impact on our community. I am proud to be her great-grand daughter and can only hope to walk through this life with a glimps of her strengths, which is why I chose to place this piece on my lower leg #megandreamtattoo #meganmassacrecontest #inlovingmemory #ggramma

This is an idea I have for my great-grandmother Irene. For me the loon represents her spirit , she was so calm, collected, loving, graceful && wise. I got this tattoo for my little sister. She was going through a rough time and went to the place where I never wanted her to go. Not only supporting her fight, but also supporting The Semicolon Project && giving myself the reminder too, cause i was there a couple times too...She posted on fb a picture explaining the semicolon project && i told her that i was going to get one for her with her initals beside...the next day I was in the shop talking to my artist, next thing i know, Im on the table && he is setting up his machine #babysis #loveherThis is my first tattoo session, I had 2 pieces done.
