As I was painting this I couldn't help but want it as a tattoo. There is so much meaning behind this piece, more than I can even begin to describe here. With my dad sick and dieing I'm deciding that uprooting my life in the Pacific Northwest to be with him is the only direction for me. I'm leaving my whole life here, my career as a hairdresser, my amazing friends and community, and my creative endevours as a musician and an artist. I will be starting new in California to live close to my dad and care for him there.
