This is my first and only tattoo. A peice from street artist #Banksy. I like to call it my prison tattoo. My mom's boyfriend did it in a backroom with a battery, motor, half a pen shell, and a paper clip. 4-hrs of labor, pain, and love. She's held up surprisingly well over the years, suffering normal fading, but still going strong. She is my pride and joy, my baby girl.

This is my #megandreamtattoo, a peice I've wanted for a long time. This installation is named "seppuku". I got permission from the artist #pejac a few years back and he even requested a picture when it was done. I want it done on my upper left back, and plan to follow it up with a cherry blossom tree in full bloom extending from my back and across my shoulders..sadly teaching early education in San Francisco is barely enough to afford cost of living, much less an awesome luxury like tattoos! Even if i dont win it will happen someday, but figured this was worth a shot! It's love your pet day and the fact she chose this day was just a mere coincidence! This memorial tattoo is to always remember the happiest dog in the world, the amazing Aria ♡ She lived fast and fully, a great life full of joy and adventures!

A sea shell from the beach of my partner to remind my her of home Super cool idea from my client, to design a #steampunk #blackbird. This tattoo is only a few inches long . Loved the challenge, and would love to do more ❤️Well this is a peice I cleaned up for my homegirl she had it done from a guy and was not happy with the work at all! So she called meA little tattoo for my friend. This is her first tattoo and she handled it like a champ Bongostyle Maa Durga slaying Mahishasur ( buffalo demon) #bongostyletattoo is a custom tailored tattoo style that i have been developing for the past few years.the design style is a melting pot of influences and inspirations from various East Indian (mainly West Bengal and neighboring states) folk art and some contemporary artforms.the subject matter ranges from story telling to purely ornamental.i try to showcase either CONFLICT or COEXISTENCE in my designs , often taking inspiration from events described in various mythological scriptures and verses and stories that i have grown up hearing. This particular backpiece is a special one because as a Bengali , Maa Durga and her image in form of giant 30 foot clay idols to late great Jamini Roy s paintings , has been a constant source of power and inspiration , even to a lifelong atheist like myself, for Durga is not a goddess for us , she is one of us, part of the family , a culmination of everything that is good in us and everything Most of this healed from a year and a half back. Top section did yesterday. This tattoo is not only my first but it is my own design with additions from my artist. I made this design for my grandmother who passed away a couple years ago. She was a huge part of my life and I miss her a lot. It has a mistake on it but that's my fault. The Japanese on top is my grandmothers name. Toshiko
