This was a first tattoo. We might shade it. She pretty mich gabe me free-reign to create something for her. I am very pleased with the outcome.Faun babe. Customer brought in reference and i redrew it. Wish i knew who the original artist was to give credit. I got this tattoo in honour of my grandma who just passed away, her last name was Rose. The night she died, before I knew she had, I had a dream where she told me that blue butterflies are her favourite animal 💙Had this done after my mom passed away I would like to add to it to really make it pop.This is a piece i dedicated to my grandmother who died a year ago. Yellow was her favorite color and she would always tell me to Be Good when we said our goodbyes. She was my favorite person ever and I still cry when I think about her. My unlce recently passed and it had quite the toll on me. This was his original artwork, and I think it would be a great way to honor him.
“I went on a 14 day silent retreat and it was probably the hardest thing I’ve ever done.Towards the end of the two weeks I had what I think I can only describe as an out of body experience during the 4am session. I felt an overwhelming bubble of sadness and guilt literally rise within me but it wasn’t mine I was just experiencing it for someone else, I opened my eyes in floods of soundless tears that also felt not mine.I forgave my mum there and then, and it felt natural that I would stand by her no matter what, no more distancing myself, no more pushing her to get help, I would just be there unconditionally.When I left and came back home my mum told me she had something to tell me. She’d woken up really early in the morning (around 4am) and she said it was then clear what she had to do and why she had to do it.I believe I felt what my mum was feeling. I still don’t know what my mum actually felt that morning but it gave her the power and motivation to change her life.”The ocean and beach have always been my happy place, so I figured this minimalist tattoo could be my reminder when I don't get to goThis is in Danish, my late grandmother always said in Danish, it was good that little bit we got, after every meal, I got it the day after she passed away Number 11, “remember me” in my Nana’s handwriting. I had wanted a tattoo in her memory since she had passed away when I was 8. Shortly after she passed, my Tata brought me a purse from her and explained to me she had wanted me to have it but never got the chance to give it to me. It had some rings, minerals from a gem show, and a note containing this sentiment.
