In a world of chaos and hate.. I grew up a Bob Marley kid listening to the wise words of a man that had a lot to teach ppl. I was getting ready to start a new leg in life with a work promotion and didnt want to forget that at the end of the day we are all the same and we all need #ONELOVE2nd just after it was finished “I went on a 14 day silent retreat and it was probably the hardest thing I’ve ever done.Towards the end of the two weeks I had what I think I can only describe as an out of body experience during the 4am session. I felt an overwhelming bubble of sadness and guilt literally rise within me but it wasn’t mine I was just experiencing it for someone else, I opened my eyes in floods of soundless tears that also felt not mine.I forgave my mum there and then, and it felt natural that I would stand by her no matter what, no more distancing myself, no more pushing her to get help, I would just be there unconditionally.When I left and came back home my mum told me she had something to tell me. She’d woken up really early in the morning (around 4am) and she said it was then clear what she had to do and why she had to do it.I believe I felt what my mum was feeling. I still don’t know what my mum actually felt that morning but it gave her the power and motivation to change her life.”This was my first tattoo I plan to have someone fix it and touch it up. It was suppose to symbol the relationship between my father and I/Just as a glass can fracture into multiple pieces, the challenges in the life process can be divided into various obstacles that need to be overcome to achieve the desired outcome. Both cases involve the concept of facing difficulties and working to overcome them in order to attain a successful result. This was my first and i had it dine after my two kids
This was the day after I had it done. The cutest face and the sweetest tribute to a friend. I could stare at this one all day and I had the best time tattooing it! Took the photo at a funny angle so got a bit of a warp on it.
